The Japanese Ma and Structure
A hypothesis of the Japanese cultural operating system

Abstract
Ma is not empty space. It is a high-density interval in which multiple meanings, temporalities, relations, and possible actions remain incompletely fixed.
Core Model
Japanese communication often compresses contextual parameters into words, gestures, silence, timing, and spatial distance. Meaning is reconstructed by the receiver rather than fully specified by the sender.
This structure may offer a design principle for AI that preserves ambiguity, context, and relational calibration instead of forcing premature discretization.

この構造は、曖昧さを欠陥として排除せず、文脈と関係調整を保持するAI設計へ接続できる。
