Fear Distance and the Security-Maintenance OS
Dependence and avoidance as routes through an infinite castle

Abstract
Dependence and avoidance are not opposites. They are different routes by which an individual attempts to maintain security outside the self.
Core Model
A proximity-based OS approaches others to restore security. A distance-based OS withdraws to restore security. When their preferred distances collide, each side may interpret the other as abnormal.
The infinite castle is maintained because every attempt to obtain final security through external distance control generates another corridor.

要旨
依存と回避は対立ではない。安心を自分の外側で維持しようとする、無限城の別ルートである。
中心モデル
接近型OSは近づくことで安心を回復し、離隔型OSは離れることで安心を回復する。安心距離が衝突すると、互いを異常と見なしやすい。
外部の距離制御によって最終的安心を得ようとするたび、新しい廊下が生成されるため、無限城は維持される。
