Abstract

The self is not assumed to exist as a fully bounded subject before observation. This paper proposes that the self emerges as an observation point when focus introduces a boundary into an undifferentiated field.

Core Model

The proposed sequence is: field → existence → movement → relation → focus → observation point → self. Focus does not merely select an object; it simultaneously gives contour to the observer.

A short interval of approximately 0.3–1 second may function as a margin in which stimulus has arrived but identity and response are not yet fully fixed. This temporal margin is a potential site of agency.

要旨

本稿は、「私」を観測以前から完成している主体としてではなく、未分化な場へフォーカスが生じたときに生成される観測点として捉える。

中心モデル

基本系列は「場 → 存在 → 動き → 関係 → フォーカス → 観測点 → 私」である。フォーカスは対象を選択するだけではない。同時に、観測する側である「私」に輪郭を与える。

刺激が到達してから反応や自己同一化が固定されるまでの0.3〜1秒ほどの時間は、主体性が生じ得る余白として考えられる。
