Abstract

For some individuals, primitive defensive responses activate before thought and language. Attempts to defeat them through will, explanation, or self-improvement may be detected as additional manipulation and amplify the response.

Core Model

The survival OS should be treated as a specification rather than an enemy. When the demand to conquer it is released, the apparent final boss may become smaller and vitality may return.

This note limits its claim: cognitive methods can be useful when the reflex system is quiet or integrated, but may reverse under high sensitivity and rapid defensive activation.
